6 A SIDE CASUAL FOOTBALL

Information

Our 6-a-side casual football is a fun and recreational opportunity for people to enjoy playing football. It offers a relaxed and friendly environment where participants can sign up to play without the pressures of a competitive league.

Here are some key details about our 6-a-side casual football league:

  1. Format: The matches are played with six players on each team, hence the name "6-a-side." This smaller team size allows for faster-paced and more inclusive gameplay. Please note sometimes the games can be 7vs7 or 8vs8.

  2. Sign-up: Anyone interested in participating can sign up to play. The league welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced individuals. The sign-up process is typically done on a weekly basis through our Doodle poll. Please put your full name and if you are not on messenger then also where you signed up from such as (Stephen Birch- Telegram) This means if we need to cancel the session then we can let you know!

  3. Sessions: There are several sessions held throughout the week to accommodate different schedules. The exact number of sessions and their timings may vary depending on the availability of facilities and the number of participants.

  4. Location: The matches are held at a designated football facility, such as a sports center or a local football field. The specific location may be communicated through a poll or other means of communication.

  5. Communication: To provide all the necessary information about each week's session, a poll is used as a primary means of communication. This poll could be accessed through an online platform, such as a website or a social media group, where participants can find details regarding session timing, location, and any other relevant updates. We then usually make a FB messenger chat or Telegram channel to get out all the final information a day before

  6. Casual and Fun: The primary focus of these games  is on providing a casual and enjoyable football experience. While the matches may still be competitive to a certain degree, the emphasis is on fun, camaraderie, and enjoying the game.

  7. Open to All: The games are open to both individuals and teams. If you don't have a full team, you can sign up as an individual, and the league organizers will assign you to a team. This setup allows for meeting new people and building connections through football.

  8. Equipment: Generally, players are expected to bring their own football boots, drinks, appropriate clothing, and shin guards for safety. The league will provide the footballs and other necessary equipment for the matches.
